Pan Kobo Cafe 焼きたてパンの店 at Horizon Hills
The freshly bread which baked locally all are handmade with different doughs (local bread are mostly 'one' dough for all breads) follow the recipe of the Japanese Bread Master by the Chief Baker - Mr Nakayama Iku at the bakery. The healthy breads sell in this bakery are all without any additives, softener and preservation chemical. They like to encourage everyone to eat their Daily bread for breakfast, not just an occasional bread. Words from Tomo San.
Nice and relax interior design provided with a healthy freashly baked Japanese bread
The new bakery was just opened on May 2013 and it's a good opportunity for the Johor Bahru peoples to taste the Freshly, Healthy Japanese Style Bread. As for me, this was my first time...
The cafe is provided nice dining area with tables and chairs (indoor and outdoor) for customers who like to have their bread serve right from the oven, coffee and tea are serve from the cafe too. They offer some common daily breads and also Pan Kobo signature's bread. Let me show you some of the bread photos below...
Apologies because I forgot some of the name of the breads.
Donuts
Plain bread
Walnut Cream Cheese (one of my favorite!)
Coconut Meron Pan
Sesame bread
One of the signature bread (sorry, forgot the name of it)
Cinnabon - their customers's favorite
Japanese Chicken Curry Bread (signature's bread)
Chocolate bread (kids will love it very much!)
Croissant with chocolate
There are many type of breads in the bakery, you have to taste it yourself!
We tasted some of the breads here and they were soft, tender and Delicious! With the natural yeast. The curry bread was crispy on the skin and flavorful inside, among all I like the Walnut Cream Cheese very much because of the walnut...:)

We chose to enjoy the healthy breads at the cafe and chatting with the friendly boss - Mr Tomohisa Haraguchi. This was also our first time met up with so friendly bakery owner in Johor Bahru. Great!
The price for the breads are from RM2.50 - RM8.50. It's reasonable price for the nice healthy bread without addictive and you will feel and taste different compare with the breads of local bakery. Do drop by the Pan Kobo Cafe to try the Japanese Breads if you happen at Taman Bukit Indah or Nusa Bestaru area, it's just nearby...
