Danga City Mall, Johor Bahru
This shopping mall had bring back live again! It was named Best World Shopping Mall those day, then it took over by Danga Bay Management and re-renovate the mall call - Danga City Mall today.
The mall was open on December 2008. The new management totally changed the face of the mall, I was surprised when I step in....
And it's also the First Shopping Mall at Johor Bahru provided security within the parking lot. I was surprised again to see this Security Post at the parking area! I believe this will prevent the car theft taking advantage, unlike others Big Shopping Malls at Johor Bahru which always facing many car stolen cases during their Sale periods.
On the 5th of January 2009, they provided the Train and Shuttle Bus services.

I heard that the Johor Government is asking the Danga management to take over the abandoned Kemayan City also...
BTW, the building design is obsolete. The head room is low, too much space hollow portion, narrow corridors etc... so basically no matter how they refurbish it, the entire building will only be a "brand new" Skudai Parade. =)

Too bad that this shopping mall is quite dead nowadays, but best of all, free parking :)

I was in Johore and Danga bay at night. Quiet at night but the waters look lovely.
My friend took me to a food stall to eat Johore rojak and ice jelly. Something we don't have in Penang so it is very refreshing for me
