MY TRIPS - Home
I remembered Muar town is very colourful in such a way that the council painted each row of shop with a colour. The corner-lot shops ended up having 2 different colours!! ;p
ReplyDeleteHi ingchia,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit.
And thanks for highlight the building with '2' colours! I didn't notice that till I read your comment. :)
Cheers!
Very good coverage. Did you try Muar's chicken rice balls? They are bigger than those golf-ball size chicken rice from Melaka. I is so frarannt you can even eat them without the chicken meat. It is available at a coffee-shop (kopi-tiam) at the junction of Jalan Meriam and Jalan Sayang, next to the Indian temple. And do you know you can have satay and chicken rice for breakfast in Muar?
ReplyDeleteWow! Walking along these streets are like walking down the lane of history. Although I'm not very familiar with Muar, but I find this very interesting!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who lives at Muar but I never visit her there. After seeing those photographs you took , it seems I can understand Muar better and the place where she lives.
We usually don't pay much attention to the buildings that we look at them everyday. It is good enough for you to take such a subject into your blog.
Keep it up!
One thing I observed about this place are the colorful building facades.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I posted yesterday about the Notorious Stinky Tofu, an exotic delicacy enjoyed by many Taiwanese. You might want to check it out. :)
Hi Kher,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit & the informations. I will definitely try your Chicken Rice recommendation! :)
Hi foongpc,

Hi asian traveler,
Thanks for the visit.
Good review about the Stinky Tofu. Honestly, I love it very much! I ate a lot during my visit to Taipei on 2007! :)
A very good write up indeed.
ReplyDeleteWill be visiting Muar on 3rd July with a Local Group. Main idea is Durian!
