Top of Penang Hill (Flagstaff Hill), Penang

After almost 25 minutes, we reached the Penang Hill (Bukit Bendera) of Penang!
The convenient shop just wanna close shop when were there, it's 5.30pm.

Convenient Shop

Once we walked out from the Train Station, the Breathtaking view appear in front of us!
Penang Bridge, Komtar of Penang, and others....

Magnificent view of Georgetown, Penang.

KOMTAR of Penang

It was so Beautiful! I was standing here for more than 15 minutes to admiring the scenic view...

Tourists are everywhere...

The weather was just nice and the temperature was between 20°C - 22°C. It is the coolest place in Penang Island.
Along the way, there are many stalls selling souvenirs...

Surprisingly this monkey wanna tell us that we are standing at the Altitude of 720 meter.

I miss this type of stall very much! (picture below) We used to call it - The "Kacang Puteh" stall...

I never see even one at Johor Bahru area...But it's hot if you take too much! :)
Behind the stall, it's a small size of food court and also some shops selling souvenirs.

We missed the Snake Show and the Fire Show which shows on only on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday....beside the stage, you will witness the First Funicular Train of Penang Hill.

The train is separate to Class A and Class B cabin.

The Mosque and the Indian Temple are side by side with no racial conflict and tension. The children playground it's just located in between.

The children playground between the Mosque and the Indian Temple.

More pictures for the Indian Temple...

The repeater behind of the Mosque.

The fountain before the Temple...

I believe this building above was built long time ago, especially the antique design...

Suddenly, we spotted a beautiful area for our tea break after 30 minutes walk! The place called David Brown's Restaurant...

  4. Hi robo, thanks for following my blog! : )

These photos of Penang Hill brought back memories of my visit there 3 years ago. Really nice photos!

Still remember the train ride up and down the hill and the beautiful view up there although it was spoilt by the haze blowing from Indonesia!

Did you visit that eatery in the hotel on top of the hill where there were snakes above you while you eat?

  6. I don't remember the name of the hotel, but I thought there's only one hotel up there, right? Anyway, I ate at this hotel - it's at the back of the hotel which faces the beautiful view of Penang. There was a green colour snake on top of me while I ate and the staffs even pointed it out to me where the other snakes were. Then only I noticed there were snakes all over at the top! It was hard to see as they were among the green plants and leaves on top. I was afraid one will drop on my table, so I moved table! Haha!
